Basic Search
You can enter any text into the search bar and SOTI MobiControl will use that keyword to search your devices for a match. Generally, keyword searches assess the values of any device property available in the column view to generate its results. These properties are a subset of the device properties available in a Device Information panel and exclude extended properties.
Basic search is most effective when using unique values such as serial numbers or device IDs. Less precise queries may return multiple devices containing the same value but from different properties, or a partial match of the queried value.
